Appeal by Jon Holtzman for a variance from required <br /> setback from road as provided by Section 10. 17 (1) (b) to <br /> permit addition/alteration of existing residence at 3221 STH <br /> 134 in the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 36, Town of Deerfield. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Holtzman OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: --- <br /> GASKILL/KLOPP to grant, with conditions, variance of 23 . 5± <br /> feet from required minimum setback to centerline of STH 134 <br /> to allow residential addition as proposed. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1) . The new construction shall be removed at the owner' s <br /> expense if future road improvement requires additional <br /> right-of-way. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1) . Existing residence is entirely within required setback <br /> area. <br /> 2) . Addition will be further from right-of-way line than <br /> majority of existing residence. <br /> 3) . Residence is 70 years old and built prior to setback <br /> requirements . <br /> 4) . Project is bedroom addition and kitchen expansion. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as <br /> possible without injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the <br /> public interest. Motion carried - 4-0 . <br /> #2678 . Appeal by Gilbert Helt for a Special Exception <br /> Permit as provided by Section 11 . 05 (3) to permit filling, <br /> grading, etc. , within 300 feet of Six Mile Creek in the NW <br /> 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 4, Town of Springfield. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Kiviniemi OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: <br /> Town Board, County Highway. <br /> SAYLES/KLOPP to grant, with conditions, permit to fill and <br /> grade for road construction and plat drainage control <br /> structures . <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1) . That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed <br /> engineer within the scope of the application, and filed <br /> with the Zoning Department before commencement of any <br /> work. <br />
