BOA MINUTES 11/21/02 <br /> PAGE 1 <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> tiv MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 21, 2002 <br /> PRESENT: Long, Sayles, Kay, Klopp, and Ross <br /> ALSO: Reynolds <br /> Meeting called to order at 6:30 P.M. BY Chair Ross in Room 2-F City-County Building <br /> to hold Public Hearing as published by Class II Notice. <br /> MINUTES: LONG/KAY to approve minutes of 10/17 and 10/24/02 as submitted. <br /> Motion carried 4-0 (Klopp, abstain). <br /> #3208. Appeal by Barbara Ricker et al. for variances from required minimum sideyards, <br /> maximum lot coverage, and minimum setback from normal high watermark as provided <br /> by Sections 10.16(5), 10.05(5), and 11.03(1) and(2)to permit proposed addition to <br /> existing residence at 2860 Lakeside Street being Lot#6, Block#1, Waubesa Beach, 1st <br /> Addition—Section 8, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: B. Ricker OPPOSED: -- COMMUNICATION: Town Board, <br /> Department of Natural Resources <br /> fir <br /> SAYLES/ROSS to grant Variance of 28± feet from minimal required setback to normal <br /> high watermark to permit alteration/reconstruction of existing porch, on original <br /> footprint, as proposed. Motion carried 3-2, (Kay, Long—no). <br /> SAYLES/KLOPP to grant Variance of 6± feet from required left sideyard to permit <br /> alteration/reconsideration of existing porch, on original footprint, as proposed. Motion <br /> carried 3-2 (Kay, Long—no). <br /> KAY/LONG to deny requested Variance from setback to normal high watermark to <br /> permit 10' x 10'± in-fill addition as requested. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1). Applicant proposes to remove existing front 3-season porch and in-fill 10' x 10' <br /> vacant space and construct living space the entire width of existing residence. <br /> 2). Existing 3-season porch is slab construction and proposal is to include frost footings. <br /> 3). Existing structure is non-conforming as to setback from normal high watermark and <br /> sideyard. <br /> 4). Previous Variance request(3128-5/25/01) included setback from road which <br /> township has now vacated. <br /> 5). Additional space needed for dining/living room. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> Existing Footprint: <br />
