BOA 10/25/01 Minutes <br /> Page 5 <br /> APPEALS FROM PREVIOUS HEARINGS: <br /> #3152. Zulawski -Pleasant Springs - 9/20/01 P.H. <br /> Appearance: D. Zulawski <br /> Sayles/Ross to grant variance from maximum height of boathouse to allow structural <br /> addition/alteration not to exceed 24 inches above of existing boathouse south wall. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1). Applicant has an existing boathouse,with a pitched roof, that is in need of <br /> repair/replacement. <br /> 2). Applicant proposes discarding pitched roof and replace with a flat roof with deck <br /> and rail atop. <br /> 3). Boathouse is significantly lower than residence and appears no obstruction to view of <br /> lake. <br /> 4). Boathouse,with exception of exceeding maximum height, is in compliance with <br /> setback from normal high watermark and sideyard. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without injustice to <br /> applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried- 4-0. <br /> Long/Sayles to adjourn.
