Kavanaugh OPPOSED: - COMMUNICATION: Town <br /> board <br /> Klopp/Sayles to hold in abeyance requested variance from wall signage requirements <br /> until September hearing. Motion Carried 4—0. <br /> #3102. Appeal by Robert&Virginia Kominiak for a variance from required sideyard as <br /> provided by Section 10.16(5)to permit addition to existing residence at 4324 Jordan <br /> Drive being Lot#30, Block#1,Brictson Park, Section 8, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: D.& T. Knickmeier OPPOSED: - COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Sayles/Klopp to grant requested variance, with condition, of 1.3 feet from required left <br /> sideyard to permit residential addition as proposed. <br /> Condition: That roof overhang of the residence not exceed 2 feet. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1). Applicant proposes new garage and 2nd story addition to existing residence. <br /> 2). Variance#3092 granted 6/22/00 for reduced setback to right-of-way of Jordan <br /> Drive and variance to maximum lot coverage to permit additions. <br /> 3). Applicant will reduce areas of decking to accommodate increased lot coverage due to <br /> cantilevers. <br /> 4). Original submittals did not indicate cantilevers therefore not included in previous <br /> variance applications. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public intrest. <br /> 2). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without injustice to the <br /> applicant. <br /> Motion carried 4-0. <br /> APPEALS PREVIOUS HEARINGS: <br /> #3089. Showers-Blooming Grove-P.H. 5/25/00 <br /> Appearance: C. Hauge in opposition <br /> Long/Sayles to deny requested variance from required setback from road to permit <br /> commercial building as proposed. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1). Applicant was requested, at July hearing, to provide staff a detailed site plan 2 weeks <br /> prior to August hearing. <br /> 2). Applicant proposes commercial building within required setback to right of way of <br /> USH 51 "on ramp". <br /> 3). Town, neighbors and BOA had concerns regarding; screening, parking, traffic <br /> patterns and well location. <br /> ,,, 4). Staff and township have not heard from applicant since July public hearing. <br />
