BOA MINUTES 10/28/99
PAGE 1
tow
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES
October 28, 1999
PRESENT: Long, Kay, Ross and Sayles .
ALSO: Reynolds
Meeting called to order by Chair Kay at 6: 30 P.M. , in Room
2-F City-County Building, to hold Public Hearing as
published by Class II Notice.
Minutes: ROSS/LONG to approve minutes of 9/16 and 9/23/99
as submitted. Motion carried - 4-0 .
OCTOBER PUBLIC DARING ITEMS:
#3055 . Appeal by Bradford and Dianne Eneix for a variance from
required sideyard and setback from normal high watermark as
provided by Sections 10.07 (7) and 11.03 (2) to permit deck
addition to existing residence at 2252 County Highway AB being
Lot #8 and part Lot #9, Washington Park, Section 23, Town of
Dunn.
IN FAVOR: B. Eneix OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Dane
County Highway, Norbert Scribner and Town Board.
SAYLES/ROSS to grant variance of 2 .5 feet± from required right
sideyard and variance of 12 feet± from required setback to
normal highwater mark to permit stair and landing repair
(existing dimensions) and to make conforming existing enclosed
porch.
Finding of fact:
1) . Applicant proposes to expand stair and landing leading to
0 enclosed porch which would encroach on required sideyard and
setback to normal high watermark.
2) . Existing stair, landing and enclosed porch all built
without necessary permits and violate county setbacks .
3) . Stair and landing enable access to top of boathouse and
porch.
4) . Porch and stair not included in residence permit in 1968,
but show up in 1970 tax records.
5) . Variance intended to legitimize existing longtime structure
and will only slightly reduce average setback to normal high
watermark.
(kV
