Appeal by John Christiansen for a variance from <br /> required setback from road as provided by Section 10. 17 (2) <br /> to permit construction of new single family residence at <br /> 2274 County Highway AB being Lot #15, Washington Park <br /> Section 23, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: E. Nelson OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town <br /> Board, County Highway <br /> ROSS/SAYLES to grant with conditions variance of 10 feet <br /> from required setback to right-of-way of County Highway AB <br /> to permit construction of new residence as proposed. <br /> Conditions: <br /> 1) . Subject to exact plans and specifications (to include <br /> building and deck footprint and dimensional setbacks as <br /> indicated on site plan) as submitted. <br /> 2) . The structure shall be removed at the owner' s expense <br /> if future road improvement requires additional right-of-way. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1) . Applicant has a 66' x 130'± lake lot and wishes to <br /> remove old cottage and construct new residence. <br /> 2) . Required setback to County Highway AB is 42 feet from <br /> right-of-way. <br /> 3) . Applicant proposes to exceed required setback to normal <br /> high watermark provided can get setback from right-of-way <br /> 1 relief. <br /> 4) . Property falls toward Lake Kegonsa 16 feet from highway <br /> right-of-way to front building line of proposed residence. <br /> 5) . Property is in an area of Numerous non-conforming <br /> structures and numerous variances from required right-of-way <br /> setback being granted. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as <br /> possible without injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the <br /> public interest. <br /> Motion carried - 4-1 (Kay, no) . <br /> #3029. Appeal by David and Mary Jane Ellickson for variance <br /> from required rearyard as provided by Sections 10.123 (8) and <br /> 10. 05 (8) to permit addition/alteration of existing single <br /> family residence at 6488 State Highway 19 in the NE 1/4 NW <br /> 1/4 Section 12, Town of Springfield. <br /> IN FAVOR: M. J. and D. Ellickson OPPOSED: --- <br /> COMMUNICATION: Environmental Health <br /> KLOPP/LONG to grant variance of 37 .1 feet from required <br /> rearyard to permit alteration of existing residence, also <br /> variance of 35 feet from required rearyard to permit <br /> proposed garage addition. <br />
