Structural alteration of existing residence is to <br /> convert a flat roof to pitched. <br /> 3) . A 24' x 30' garage addition is needed for vehicle <br /> storage and will be further from rear lot line than existing <br /> residence. <br /> 4) . Property presently has a 50 foot minimum rearyard, as <br /> zoned, by rezone to R-3 the amount of variance would be <br /> reduced, however a variance would still be necessary. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as <br /> possible without injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) .
