Proposal is for a 30' x 22' canopy to protect drive-up <br /> customers of donation center for thrift store. <br /> 2) . 2 Support pillars are only physical or visual obstruction <br /> into required setback. <br /> 3) . Drive-up location is dictated by existing doors and <br /> topography of opposite side of building. <br /> 4) . North Street is a lightly traveled dead-end serving 3 <br /> residences to the West. <br /> 5) . Property is in an area of numerous nonconforming lots with <br /> numerous variances granted. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the Zoning Ordinance as much as possible <br /> without injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the <br /> public interest.
