PLANNING/ZONING COMMISSION-REGULAR MEETING - 10/2/91 - 8:00 P.M. - <br /> TOWN HALL <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT : Green, Gjermo, Gregorich, Neal , Stiklestad (Chr . ) , <br /> Movrich (Tn. Bd. ) , Ritchie. <br /> OTHERS PRESENT : Mike Roberts, Oscar/Shirley Linnerud, George Weir , <br /> Roger Kleven, Ray/Sheryl Anderson , Dan Moeser , Don Wheeler, Royal <br /> Lunde, Lawerence Carry' , Charles Haberly , Eric Neuwirth (Hub) , Tom <br /> Smillie (Dane Co. Reg. Planning) . <br /> MEETING CONVENED by Chr . Stiklestad at 8: 00 P.M. <br /> 9/4/91 MINUTES APPROVED with the following correction , that the Hauae <br /> property request not exceed 2 . 5 acres additional ( not 3. 5 acres as <br /> stated) . <br /> 9/18/91 MINUTES/SPECIAL MEETING OF PLAN COMMISSION ACTING AS PARK <br /> COMMISSION approved as presented. <br /> KERRY/JIM HAUGE - Presented request as directed by Dane Co. Zoning to <br /> change their present B-i zoning to C-i zoning as C-i is more <br /> appropriate for their present use . A motion made by Ron Ritchie to <br /> grant C-1 commercial on the two parcels presented. limiting use to <br /> retail and service for woodburning stoves, and sales and repair of <br /> lawn-garden equipment . Second by Jerry Movrich. Passed. Motion by <br /> Jerry Movrich that the Town waive any new fees on application to <br /> change from the B-1 to C-1 zoning, since fees were already assessed to <br /> original application seeking B-1 zoning from A-1 . Motion second by <br /> Ron Ritchie and passed. <br /> BILL/CINDY PLUMLEY - Written request presented stating what uses they <br /> presently have for C-2 zoning instead of C-1 zoning. There was much <br /> discussion and concern expressed about allowing all uses permitted in <br /> C-1 zoning" as part of the new C-2 request. Richard Green made a <br /> motion to grant Conditional C-2 zoning limited to: <br /> (i ) truck and bus terminal , not to exceed 6 trucks , and <br /> (S) warehouse uses <br /> The following permitted uses in C-1 zoning be removed: <br /> (g) rooming/boarding horses <br /> (h) bakeries , printing plants , laundries/dry cleaning plants <br /> (m) experimental laboratories not to exceed 5,000 sq. ft . plan area <br /> John Neal seconded motion and motion passed . <br /> OSCAR/SHIRLEY LINNERUD - Request to regone A-lEx. land for golf course <br /> -housing development . George Weir presented plan of 66 lots, each <br /> about 3/4 acre, around 9 hole golf course. <br /> Questions and concerns were expressed in the following areas : <br /> - Park land deeded for subdivision? <br /> - Public or private golf course? <br /> - Lots not within limited service area <br /> - Housing development does not follow guidelines established in Town <br /> Land Use Plan <br /> - PSSD#1 was built to service exhisting residences and to correct <br /> problems around the lake, not to encourage new development <br /> - Water supply to these homes? <br /> - Why are residential lots necessary to have a golf course? <br />
