The NBSC shall allow the general public to use the pistol and rifle range for quote sighting <br /> in unquote rifles and weapons in preparation for hunting seasons, if the NBSC provides that <br /> opportunity for its members. However, the NBSC may charge fees to members of the <br /> general public for the use of the facilities for this purpose. <br /> 7. The rifle range shall not be used for firing or testing fully automatic weapons except for law <br /> enforcement agency personnel and subject to club approval. <br /> 8. The NBSC shall, at regular intervals prescribed by the NBSC's environmental consultant, <br /> reclaim spent ammunition from the pistol and rifle ranges by excavating the surface a <br /> minimum of 4 inches from the surface and removing the metals within the limits of available <br /> recycling methods. <br /> 9. The hours of operation of the shooting range shall be: <br /> • With respect to the unilluminated ranges, 9 a.m. to sunset; <br /> • With respect to the illuminated rahges, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. <br /> • The range may open at 8 a.m. on Saturdays for the purpose of special events. <br /> • The NBSC may also allow shooting during other hours for the purpose of law <br /> enforcement or licensed security personnel training subject to club approval. <br /> 10. The NBSC shall maintain liability insurance in an amount of at least $2 million in aggregate. <br /> 11. There shall be a qualified range officer selected by the NBSC on the rifle range who actively <br /> controls and supervises the range at all times when it is in operation. <br /> 12.The rifle range shooting building shall be secured by a minimum of a key operated deadbolt <br /> locking system and the range area shall be secured by fencing with a locked gate. <br /> 13.The CUP shall expire automatically if the NBSCs ceases to be a not for profit organization. <br /> 14.The NBSC shall permit a representative of the Town to access the NBSC property for the <br /> purpose of inspecting the premises tO assure that thepremises are in compliance, as <br /> requested. <br /> 15.
