QlotIt og0Z inc.
o
to independence
4/15/91 Putting the person before the disability
Dane County Zoning and Natural Resources Committee
c/o Robert J. Lindholm
Ripple Management
3533 University Ave.
3533
Madison, W i . 5 705
To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing in support of a project which Ripple Management
has proposed for 881 W. Beltline Hwy. I am familiar with a
similar project undertaken by Ripple Management and feel they
do an excellent job renovating properties to improve the
availability of quality affordable housing, which positively
impacts neighborhoods.
As a housing counselor for people with physical and sensory
disabilities, I am acutely aware of the need for more
affordable housing alternatives. I feel that the type of
units Ripple Management has developed in the past and
proposes with this project help to meet that community need.
I see no potential negative impact from the zoning changes
proposed. Particularly addressing the issue of parking, I
see no problem with a lower parking ratio, as many people do
not Gown vehicles. I:A majority of the housing consumers I
work with use public transportation. )
Keeping this in mind, I hope you will consider granting the
zoning changes requested to allow this project to move
forward.
Sincerely,
Tracy A.
