The plan includes the
following requirements:
1. The site may only be accessed off County Highway P using a stone tracking pad. The
tracking pad will be a minimum of 50' long x 24' wide x 12"deep and be constructed of
3-inch clear stone. No other site access may be used and material deposited in the road
will be cleaned up throughout and at the end of each workday.
2. Silt fence must be installed prior to grading in the locations shown on the plan and where
deemed necessary, including the down slope of all soil stockpiles. The silt fence must be
maintained until the site has been vegetated and stabilized.
3. Temporary stone check dams must be installed in the locations shown on the plan prior to
other grading. Sediment will be removed from the upslope side of the check dams once it
reaches V2 the their height.
4. Culvert outfalls must be protected by rock rip-rap as shown in the plan. The riprap will
be installed such that it forms a"bowl"with a depth of at least 12-inches to dissipate
runoff energy.
5. Concentrated flow areas identified in the plan must be erosion matted during final site
stabilization. The erosion mat must be WisDOT Class II, Type B matting or approved
equivalent.
6. Grading must be confined to the areas shown on the plan. No material storage, vehicle
traffic or grading may occur in the areas identified as`undisturbed"or`vegetated buffer"
on the plan. In the event any of these areas are disturbed, additional erosion control
measures will be required.
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
1 Fen Oak Court,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718-8812-PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
www.countyofdane.com/landconservation
