Existing ties from the Doyle and Krebs monument record were recovered. The <br /> reference monuments noted as being set on the section lines north and east from the corner checked well as <br /> well as the distances to the other reference ties. The section corner location was established from the existing <br /> reference ties and adjoining section corners. A stainless steel Dane County monument was set at the corner <br /> just below the existing grade in a pasture area of taller grass.
