An Aluminum Monument was found along <br /> with 3 of the 4 previous reference ties as monumented for the Southeast corner of Section 35 of Pleasant <br /> Springs Township. The aluminum monument has been used as the Northeast 1/4 corner of Section 2 by <br /> Richardson for a survey in 1990. The resurvey of Pleasant Springs township completed by Hintze in 1918 <br /> shows an 8.6'jog to the west of the Southeast corner of Section 35 to the Northeast corner of Section 2 as <br /> also shown by George Weir on CSM No. 2890. The location being 8.57 feet west of the monument at the <br /> Southeast 1/4 corner of Section 35 matches nearly a split along the north line of Section 1. A Survey Spike <br /> with washer was set at the location determined from the original notes and surveys.
