A 6"x 6" <br /> concrete monument was set at this corner in the 1918 resurvey of Pleasant Springs Township by P. Hintze. In <br /> 1980 Thom Grenlie found the monument and placed a Berntsen monument over the concrete monument to <br /> bring it to the surface. No reference is made to the Northeast corner of Section 2 although it is shown in the <br /> section location sketch on the monument record as the same corner. <br /> (j) I, Kevin C.
