Anderson <br /> Zoning Inspector <br /> Re: NW NE - Section 24, Town of Westport <br /> Parcel #0809-241-8690-5 - R 10113/30/6/3/87 <br /> Dear Mr. Anderson: <br /> This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated February 21, <br /> 1991, in the above entitled matter. <br /> There must be some confusion. <br /> The parcel of real estate to which you refer is described as <br /> follows: <br /> A part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, <br /> Township 8 North, Range 9 East, in the Town of <br /> Westport, described as follows: Commencing at <br /> the Northwesterly corner of Lot 223, Fourth <br /> Addition to Cherokee Park, City of Madison, <br /> thence North 23 degrees 08 ' East, 10 feet; <br /> thence South 66 degrees 52 ' East on a line <br /> parallel to the Northeast line of said Lot <br /> 223, 136.92 feet; thence South 23 degrees 08 ' <br /> West 10 feet to the most Easterly corner of <br /> said Lot 223; thence North 66 degrees 52 ' <br /> ,/ East, 136.92 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> ' 4' 't O f X/6p0 Jc(fl a-P 7‘ 2-P,u of DeJ/ <br /> This 10 ' strip of land adjoins Lot 223, Fourth Addition to Cherokee <br /> Park in the City of Madison, upon which my residence is located. <br /> This strip of land is 1, 369.20 square feet. This strip of land was <br /> conveyed to the undersigned on June 16, 1987, upon which I place <br /> several tomato plants each spring, some squash and cucumber <br /> seedlings, a row or two of green beans, and some onions. I am not <br /> interested in maintaining a farm operation and, of course, do not <br /> require the 35 acre minimum to which you have referred. <br /> I note that § 11. 17 entitled "Administration" of the Dane County <br /> Code of Ordinances suggests at (1) (a) that the zoning administrator <br /> advise applicants as to the provisions of this ordinance and assist <br /> them in preparing permit applications. I am unable to determine <br /> that change in zoning which I am to request, and perhaps it would <br /> be more appropriate if I would dedicate this 10 ' strip of land to <br /> Dane County, reserving only the right to place thereon each spring <br />
