From: Town of Vermont
C/O John F Bird, Clerk
4016 Forshaug Rd
Black Earth WI 53515
To: Dane County
Agriculture Environment & Land Records Committee
C/0 Shary Bisgard , Chair
Room 116
City County Building
Madison WI 53709
Re:Conditional Use Permit # 795 Lar-Dol Entrepreneurs Inc
Dear Chairperson:
At its regular monthly meeting on Janruary 8 1990 the Planning
Commission of the Town of Vermont held a public hearing on the request
from Lar-Dol Entrepreneurs Inc for a Conditional Use Permit to allow
for Governmental uses - mineral extraction (highway project) located
across from 5651 County Highway J Section 27 SE NE Town of Vermont.
After this public hearing it is clear that the residents of the Town
of Vermont oppose the granting of this CUP on agriculturally zoned
land and feel strongly that the granting will have a detrimental
impact on the ENVIRONMENT, PUBLIC HEALTH, PROPERTY VALUES, and the
general VUALITY of LIFE in the Town. The planning Commission also
feels that the granting of this CUP would also be in direct
contravention of those portions of the Town 's Land Use Plan which
regulate the use of hillsides and control the degree of slope.
Therefore the nine members of the Planning Commission voted
unanamausly to strongly recommend to the Board of Supervisors of the
Town that the Town adopt a resolution opposing the granting of CUP #
795.
The Planning Commission also directed the Clerk to report their action
to the Agricultural , ENVIRONMENT, °y Land Records Committee.
Respectfully Submitted:
ai,J)
John F Bird , Clerk
lown of Vermont , Dane County
