Land Conservation Division
.`, Dane County Land&Water Resources Department
'pCON Patrick"Sutter,County Conservationist
DATE: April 3, 2009
TO: Donald&Angela Runde
Owners
FROM: Jason Tuggle
Erosion Control Specialist
RE: Runde Property CTH E- Shore land Erosion Control Plan,SE2009-0034
The submitted shoreland erosion control plan meets the needs of the site. The plan includes the
following requirements:
1. The site will only be accessed off County Highway E using a stone tracking pad. The pad
must be a minimum of 50' long x 20' wide x 12" deep and be constructed of 3-inch clear
stone. No other site access may be used and any material deposited in the road will be
cleaned up at the end of each workday.
2. Silt fence must be installed prior to grading in the locations shown on the plan and where
deemed necessary. The silt fence must be maintained until the site is vegetated and
stabilized.
3. Temporary stone weepers must be installed in the locations shown on the plan prior to
other grading. Sediment must be removed from the upslope side of the weepers once it
reaches l the their height.
4. Temporary ditch checks must be installed in the locations shown on the plan. The ditch
checks must be maintained until the site is vegetated.
5. Areas identified in the plan must be erosion matted during final site stabilization. The
matting must be WisDOT Class II, Type B or approved equivalent.
6. Culvert outfalls must be protected by rock riprap. The riprap will be installed such that it
forms a"bowl" with a depth of at least 6-inches to dissipate runoff energy.
7. The proposed construction includes 19,000 square feet of new impervious surface. A
Dane County Stormwater Management Permit will be required once 1000 square feet of
additional impervious surface is proposed on this lot.
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
1 Fen Oak Court,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718-8812-PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
www.countyofdane.com/landconservation
