He wondered if Cami's policy would hold up the permit for his project. I went to Ordinance Section 11.06(3) and explained that, in my opinion, the DNR's confirmation is required only if there is a question of the accuracy of the Wetlands maps. In this case, we don't question the accuracy; we need to identify the field location of the boundary shown on the map for administration and enforcement of the 75' setback. I told him I thought you would accept Jim Knowles' delineation, subject to your own review of his map/report, not subject to Cami's confirmation. Harbort then wanted to know if he needed a"new" survey showing the Wetlands boundary. I told him we don't have any survey,just the line drawn on the subdivision map. I said his site plan for the proposed MFD project must show the field location of the delineated boundary that Knowles' identifies, drawn to scale, and that the boundary must remain staked in the field. That's the only way the 75' setback to the structure can be shown accurately on the site plan and verified"as- built." I think he's beginning to understand that the"Wetlands" line marked on the lot as shown on the subdivision plat is just a line, not anything we are willing or able to use for the permit.
