The goals of <br /> Cedar Hill mirror the Town of Vermont's comprehensive plan in that Cedar Hill endeavors <br /> to protect and preserve the rural character of the town, agricultural opportunities, the <br /> environment and the natural beauty of the driftless area. <br /> Cedar Hill's members are also sympathetic advocates of sustainable and green <br /> space exploration. Today's space race is expanding with commercial transportation <br /> market tendencies opening up new opportunities and jobs throughout the world. The <br /> Orbital Technologies Corporation (ORBITEC) has grown such opportunities in the <br /> development of sustainable life support capabilities that includes plant growth and <br /> "farming" in space, and in the maturation of unique propulsion systems using clean, non- <br /> toxic propellants.
