Montgomery Residence
2187 Colladay Point Drive, Stoughton, WI 53589
Erosion Control Application Checklist Comments
Erosion Control Plan Requirements— Plan Materials
1. Narrative describing the proposed project
Kieran and Isabel Montgomery purchased Lot 60 of Colladay Point and are planning to build a
new house. The lot is located at 2187 Colladay Point Drive Stoughton,WI. The lot is within 300
feet of Lake Kegonsa and is thus subject to Shoreland Zoning and Shoreland Erosion Control
Permits. Because there is more than 15% but less than 30% impervious cover within the 300'
setback, a Shoreland Mitigation Permit is also needed. A bioretention facility will provide the
required stormwater management treatment.
2. Site Plan
See Sheet 1 attached to the ECSWM memo.
3. Contours
Existing and proposed contours are shown on Sheet 2,Grading and Erosion Control Plan.
4. Watershed size for each drainage area
The watershed size and the drainage area are the entire lot because the lot has the highest
elevation in the area. See the GECP, Sheet 2.
5. Culvert Sizes
There are no existing or proposed culverts.
6. Cross sections and profiles of ditches, channels, swales and structural measures
There are no ditches, channels or swales, existing or proposed.
7. Design calculations for ditches, channels, swales and structural measures
No ditches, channels, swales or structural measures are proposed.
8. Direction of runoff flow from impervious surfaces
Runoff from the impervious surfaces will be directed to the extent practicable easterly to the
proposed bioretention facility.
9. Universal Soil Loss Equation(USLE)worksheet(s)
See USLE attached to the memo. The USLE shows the expected soil loss is within County
requirements.
1
2187 Colladay Point Drive,Stoughton WI
Erosion Control Application Checklist Comments
August 16, 2016
