The site information includes:
Total lot area: 17,910 square feet
Lot area within 300' of OHWM: 13,930 square feet
A new building and a new concrete driveway, patio and walkway will be constructed on the lot. These
improvements will result in approximately 3,380 square feet of new impervious surface which is 24.3%of
the lot area within 300'of the ordinary high water mark. Because the percentage is over 15%,a Shoreland
Mitigation Permit is needed. The percentage is under 30%,which is the maximum allowed for Shoreland
Mitigation. The area of associated soil disturbance will be approximately 10,110 square feet(0.23 acres).
A driveway permit has already been received from the Town of Dunn.
The anticipated construction schedule is as follows:
September 15,2016 Begin construction
May 15,2017 Restoration
Drainage
Under current conditions, stormwater runoff from the site drains radially from the center of the lot to Lake
Kegonsa(Sheet 1).
Drainage in the post-development condition will ultimately drain to Lake Kegonsa, the same as the existing
drainage(Sheet 2). Impervious areas will be directed to the proposed raingarden located east of the house.
Construction Site Soil Loss and Sediment Discharge Management
P\1744 Kieran Montgomery House\Reports\STORMWATER MEMO8-16.doc,
119 South Main Street • Cottage Grove.
