I wish to state my <br /> strong objections to this rezoning proposal for the <br /> following reasons and ask that you reject Kreitlow' s <br /> request. <br /> Part of the area that Kreitlow wishes to rezone is wooded <br /> hillside and , in my opinion , is environmentally undesirable <br /> for residential development. Birdfoot violets , bittersweet, <br /> and other rare plants abound on the south side of that hill <br /> and any attempts to develop the area would certainly be a <br /> blow to this natural flora. As far as I ' m concerned , there <br /> has been way too much development in Dane County over the <br /> last decade, and I would like to see this particular acreage <br /> remain in its natural state. <br /> In addition , I own 10 acres of land which adjoins part of <br /> the area in question . My friends, family , and I use this <br /> land for skiing , camping , hiking , animal , and bird watching , <br /> and I feel that if Kreitlow ' s land were developed , that <br /> development would adversely impact the recreational use of <br /> my land . <br /> I would appreciate your consideration of my objections , and <br /> I will attend the committee meeting on November 26 to <br /> further discuss them with you and the other committee <br /> members. <br /> Thank you . <br /> Sincerely , <br /> Phy 1is Willoughby <br />
