/ c-b ./-. --//- 7
November 26, 1990
16 Windf lower Ridge
Mazomanie, WI 53560
To of ilazomanie
Land Plan Committee
To Whom It May Concern.
This letter is in response to the proposed zoning ordinance
amendment No. 4925. We would like to express our objections to the
planned re-zoning of the properties described in this amendment.
In June of this year, we sold our property on Appleby Circle and
moved to our current home on Windflower Ridge. One of our primary reasons
for making this move was our dissatisfaction with living in a residential
area, preferring the peace and quiet of a more rural setting. Our present
location was selected because of its relatively isolated location and the
spectacular view of the valley. Although we both work in Madison, we
chose to live in Mazomanie because of its rural atmosphere and beautiful
natural setting.
The proposed re-zoning of the properties described in the amendment
would open the door for residential development, thereby destroying the
very atmosphere that attracted us to the property. The resulting noise
and light from a residential subdivision in the proposed location would
eliminate the quiet, natural setting we have come to love. We enjoy the
diversity of wildlife that surrounds us and have invested much effort in
encouraging the birds and animals that come to our feeders every day.
There is no doubt that residential development of the land in question
would have a very negative impact on those features of our home that make
it most appealing to us.
It is for these reasons that we encourage you to deny the zoning
ordinance amendment No. 4925.
/to Sincere
ad ,61,11 `
Russell anl' Gail Dengel
