•
outside a growing village. We feel that the Town of Mazomanie
contains many sites far more suitable for development than the
north slope of this hill (in fact, in these days of energy
shortages and uncertainty, we don' t think we should encourage
anybody to build on the north side of anything) .
We are not against development in general. You will note
that we have never written to you (or anyone) protesting the
houses on Windflower ridge (which also adjoins our land) . But we
do feel a need to object to this proposal because we feel it
would radically change this valley and create a forest of
problems (foreseen and unforeseen) , just as it would inevitably
destroy the forest on this hillside. We also feel somewhat
betrayed by Bert Kreitlow, who, many years ago, told us that he
wasn ' t planning to develop the area in question.
Sincerely,
Tom and Eleanor Flinn
cc: Mr. Ron Adler, Town of Mazomanie Chairman
Mrs . Roxanne Jordan, Town of Mazomanie Clerk
