10.191 Procedure and standard of operation for mineral extraction operations. <br /> (1)The purpose and intent of this section is to provide a centralized listing of the procedures <br /> and standards of operation for mineral extraction operations which may be permitted in several <br /> districts. <br /> (2)The application for the conditional use permit necessary to conduct a mineral extraction <br /> operation shall include the following information. <br /> (a)A legal description of the land for which the permit is requested. 1.This may be a lot <br /> in Certified Survey Map a lot (and block, if any) in a subdivision,or an exact"metes and <br /> bounds" description. 2.The description must include the size of the CUP area in acres or <br /> square feet. <br /> • See attached legal description from Access Dane website. <br /> (b)Tax parcel number(s) of the lot(s) or parcel(s)where the conditional use is to be <br /> located. If the area proposed for the conditional use is a part of a larger parcel, applicant <br /> must provide the tax parcel number of the larger parcel. <br /> • Parcel Number—018/0711-313-9002-5. <br /> (c)A written statement containing the following information: <br /> 1. General description of the operation. <br /> • See attached letter from Tom DeBeck dated 7/22/16. <br /> 2. Existing use of the land. <br /> • Property is currently being used for farming. <br /> 3. Existing natural features including approximate depth to groundwater <br /> • Property slopes downward to the east. <br /> • Excavation will stay 2'above groundwater level. <br /> 4. The types and quantities of material that would be extracted. <br /> • 500,000 cy <br />
