r
Page 3
In summary, we appreciate your attention to our concerns .
Please be aware that we strongly feel the A-i zoning of this
property is appropriate to the community as it exists today.
Many of the properties on Sugar Maple Lane are zoned A-1 . We
feel farming is an important part of the community that we do
not want to lose. This Conditional Use Permit does in fact not
fit with the agricultural use in the area.
It is our hope that you will reconsider this conditional use
permit in light of the issues we have addressed above. It is
not our intent to discredit Mr. Keleny or his operation. It is
our intent to make sure that the land is protect and preserved.
As neighbors to Mr. Hodgson, we appreciate his right and desire
to profit from his land. But zoning ordinances are meant to
protect the surrounding area, and changing land use is not
always in the best interest. This permit to change land use
does indeed jeopardize our residential/farm community and we
need a guarantee that such a land use change is in the best
interest of all concerned--the people living within the
community today and tomorrow. It is for tomorrow we fear the
most as this affects our homes, families and our quality of
life.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Elaine Sansone Thomas Sansone
Wayne Otto and Diane Hammer Jon and Peggy Schumann
Doug and Connie Reuter Dutch and Carol Sprecher
Jim & Ruth Dumesic Steve and Eileen Jeidy
Jerry and Char Dohm Jack and Claudia Chopp
