We have approved the pre-preliminary plat that Mr. Olson <br /> has suggested in regards to the zoning except for one change. We are <br /> asking that the C-1 zoning be changed to A-2. <br /> We have indicated approval of this because we feel that this is <br /> the direction of the Village that is the most likely to grow and expand. <br /> Because of this predicated growth, we would like to see the development <br /> and land use planning controled by proper zoning. <br /> In our Development Plan of 1980 we had indicated a different <br /> direction in regards to land use planning, and had stated a need to <br /> protect agricultural areas. We would like to, at this time, state that <br /> we have approved a variance to that land use plan for this area. <br /> We still feel a need to protect our agricultural area, but would <br /> like to see this area developed properly, since it will be the future <br /> direction of growth for Deerfield. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Donovan P.
