Members of Agriculture, Environment and Land
Records Committee - Dane County Board
September 29 , 1989
Page 4
not be "precedent setting" , in that all of a sudden there will
be mammoth requests for down zoning. This "R-4" zoning designa-
tion near Lake Kegonsa, in the Kegonsa Sanitary District is
believed to be a relatively unique and erroneous situation.
The only precedent that will be set by granting the Petition
in this case, is to show that the County Board has a definite
and sincere concern to do what is right, and to make its system
of zoning laws work, by maintaining the appropriate and the highest
and best use of lands in question.
Any request for additional information will gladly be responded
to. You have my thanks and appreciation for the difficult
job you are all about to undertake.
Respectfully yours,
C)j9 II -
f • " c meier
JK/sc
Enclosures
cc : Mr. Robert Knickmeier
Town of Dunn, c/o Ms .
