More <br /> intensive development of this highly visible parcel would <br /> significantly reduce the potential size of any future open space <br /> corridor between Madison and Verona - particularly along U.S. <br /> Highway 18/151. Staff, therefore, believe that it would be <br /> premature to consider more intensive uses at this location until <br /> the potential for maintaining open space has been thoroughly <br /> explored.
