TOWN OF PRIMROSE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Minutes MONDAY, July 11th, 2016 — 8:00 pm 8468 County Hwy A, Verona, WI 53593 1. Call to Order at 8:07. Present were Dale Judd, Martha Gibson, Alex Elkins, and Martha Gibson, and Ruth Hansen. 2. Reading and approval of Board Minutes: Martha moved to approve the minutes of June 6th. Alex seconded. Motion passed 3-0. 3. Financial Reports: Alex moved to approve the financial report for June. Martha seconded. Motion passed 3-0. 4. Treasurer's Report. Non-payment of Personal Property Taxes: Discussion and possible action regarding Town policy for handling non-payment of personal property taxes: Kristy Gorman requested the Town create a policy to deal with late payment of personal property taxes. She described a "TRIP" process, available through the Department of Revenue, which she felt would be a better option than a collection agency or an attorney. She will find out what the County charges for penalties and interest to discuss at a later date. 5. Approval of Bills: None 6. Martin Jelenc: Discussion and possible action regarding rezone of 760 Highway 92 (parcel 0507-242-9000-6), and replacement of existing shed with new garage: Mr. Jelenc stated that the rezoning has been taken care of, and is still waiting for his fire number. The new garage will be 30' x 40'. The site is flat and there is no set- back or building conflict. Martha moved to approve the project as shown on the plan provided by Mr. Jelenc. Alex seconded, motion passed 3-0. 7. Road inspection and Road Maintenance: Reading and approval of Road Inspection minutes. Discussion and possible action regarding seasonal work on Town Roads. Dale reported that he has driven the roads to look at the roads. Martha reported that she has had a couple of calls regarding wash-outs. Oak Grove and Miller roads are both in need of work. Brant reported that Miller Road was seal coated for 2/3 of its length. He will need to patch again. Christopher Johnson at 1410 Highway 92 has requested that his drive to be graded. The Board agreed that he would need to hire an excavator to have the drive improved, and then we could maintain it at$65/hour for grading. Kristy suggested the website reflect that the Town only does light grading. Open Meetings Notice: If this meeting is attended by one or more members of a Township governmental body who are not members of the body identified in this notice,their attendance may create a quorum under Wisconsin Open Meetings Law; However, no formal action will be taken by any governmental body at the above stated meeting other than the body identified in this meeting notice.
