TOWN OF PRIMROSE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Minutes MONDAY, July 11th, 2016 — 8:00 pm 8468 County Hwy A, Verona, WI 53593 Roger Snider asked that the Town look at the culvert on Community Road. 8. Road Equipment: Discussion and possible action regarding maintenance of vehicles, and purchase of replacement for Ford F550: Brant presented bids for a replacement truck. Roger Snider argued the need to have a small truck such as the Ford. The Board discussed possible situations needing multiple vehicles. Martha explained that we are exploring bids at this time, and that this would have to be brought up to the electors at the Budget Hearing. Dale requested that this item be tabled until closer to Budget time. It was suggested that Brant investigate the possibilities of using a small 3/ton truck as a replacement. 9. DaneCom: Discussion and possible action regarding DaneCom training and equipment acquisition. Clerk and Patrolman to find out the price of radios and antennas. 10. Old JG Bridge: Discussion and possible action regarding costs and acquisition of materials and equipment for erosion control: Clerk reported that erosion control materials will run approximately$900. We are still waiting to hear about start date from Harolds, and when they can unload the Contech pipe. 11. Discussion and possible action regarding MHJAFD proposals and approval of referendum for funding of proposed fire station for November ballot: Dale gave an overview of the project. Martha moved to put the Draft Resolution on the November ballot. Dale seconded. The motion passed 3-0. The Resolution was signed and will be sent to the County Clerk. 12. Discussion and possible action regarding affiliation with Dane County Towns Association: Martha was in favor of continuing to not pay dues. Alex feels that we will be thrown out, if we don't pay. Martha asked that this be on a later agenda, possibly September. 13. Clerk's comments Propane Contract for 2016-17: 1029 gallons with the price locked in at $1.09. Dale moved to approve. Martha seconded. Motion passed 3-0. WTA Convention October 10th. Clerk opted to not go, as there was little interest. 2nd Quarter financial report submitted. 14. Public comments: Only agenda items may have action taken. Open Meetings Notice: If this meeting is attended by one or more members of a Township governmental body who are not members of the body identified in this notice,their attendance may create a quorum under Wisconsin Open Meetings Law; However, no formal action will be taken by any governmental body at the above stated meeting other than the body identified in this meeting notice.
