July 6,1988
Planning Commission
Town of Vermont
Dane County, Wisconsin
Dear Planning Commission,
The proposed zoning changes and reopening of Tyrol Ski Basin present new
implications for land owners in Vermont Township.
We suggest the following restrictions be applied, to direct the impact of
new operations, and to preserve township regulation of land use.
1. Alcohol sold, to be consumed on the premises. Tavern to operate until
11:00p.m.
2. Facilities allowed should include a restaurant, tavern, ski shop, and -
gift shop.
3. Noise levels to be moderate at property boundaries to include no outdoor
music.
4. Ski facilities and hill to operate until 10:00p.m.
5. Slope lighting to be hooded and directed to the slope.
6. Parking to be completely facilitated on the property. (No parking on county
or township roads)
Overall the proposed zoning changes for Tyrol Ski Basin should follow the
Vermont Township Land Use Plan and its intentions. ._
Sincerely, e' 4....die_......i.z .
y ,
Robert Szalkowski and Ann Weddig
Vermont Township Residents
The following Vermont Township residents support the above position.
/ ' / M. &tNsd&-ie6r 4414y- .1°-01L•4d4
---.3x2r,ceeel. -, . 6•46,7-0,044
VII III! • 60,'
- 411
AO
, ol
1470/ /
