That upon the completion of the landfill operation, the control of that site be transferred to the Park Commission and used in a manner that is consistent and corn- patible with the park and area development. Mr. Martin moved for adoption of Sub. Res. 1 to Res. 26. Sec- onded by Mr. Holmquist. • Affidavits had been filed and tlyc following persons addressed the Board concerning this resolution: Ralph Jacobs. Route #1, Verona James McKinnon, 212 Noel Way. Verona Donald R. Hyde. 208 Noel Way, Verona Harland F. Dahlk, 6985 Harmony Drive, Verona Francis Keller and Charles Itoum had also filed affidavits but did not wish to speak at this time. Mr. Martin moved to amend the substitute resolution by adding at the end of it: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. That the land presently used for farming operations at the Hospital and home and being transferred in this resolution, shall continue to be used for this purpose as are tither Hospital and Home farm lands until such time as the Park Commission desires to develop such property, as is being transferred in this resolution. for park purposes. Hospital and Home officials shall be so notified prior to the beginning of any planting season. BE IT STILL. FURTHER RESOLVED.
