CITY OF VERONA <br /> MINUTES <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> December 5, 1988 <br /> Verona City Hall <br /> 1 . The meeting was called to order by Mayor Salkin at 6:07 p.m. <br /> 2. Roll call: Present: P. Salkin, D. Bibeau, M. Johnson, E. <br /> Faber, T. Ferch, R. Little. J. Volker arrived at 6:20 p.m. <br /> Also present: Terry Beuthling, City Engineer, also attached <br /> list from audience. <br /> 3. MOVED by Little, seconded by Faber to approve the minutes of <br /> the November 7 , 1988 meeting of the Planning Commission as <br /> amended Item 4A should read zoning petition #4387. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 4. MOVED by Salkin , seconded by Ferch to approve a building <br /> permit for Stan Smith to construct a 4 plex at 401 Melody <br /> Lane. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 5. MOVED by Bibeau, seconded by Johnson to open public hearing <br /> for a change in Section 10-1 -19 Sign Ordinance at 6:20 p.m. <br /> Motion carried 6-0. <br /> No one present spoke against the proposed ordinance change and <br /> no one had sent any written comments for or against. <br /> 6. MOVED by Faber, seconded by Johnson to close the public <br /> hearing on the sign ordinance Section 10-1 -19 at 6:25 p.m. <br /> Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 7. MOVED by Faber, seconded by Ferch to recommend that the <br /> council consider and approve a change of ordinance to Section <br /> 10-1 -19 as submitted. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 8. Zoning petition #4398, SW corner CtH "M" and Cross Country <br /> Road, Section 15 , NE NW Town of Verona. <br /> MOVED by Johnson, seconded by Ferch to not object to change <br /> of zoning as requested by zoning petition #4398. Motion <br /> carried 6-0. <br /> 9. Consider the need to change January meeting date. The January <br /> Planning Commission meeting will be on Thursday, January 5 , <br /> 1 989. <br /> 10 . MOVED by Bibeau, seconded by Johnson to open Public Hearing <br /> on change of zoning for Outlot 101 , 110-112 N.
