Fleck; <br /> The Township of Mazomanie Land Planning and Zoning <br /> Committee, and the Mazomanie Town Board are very concerned <br /> about the recycling center set up on the Peterson property <br /> on Rueter Road by Mr . Mrugala. <br /> The history of the situation is a follows: <br /> #1 April 85 . Phone call to Town Chairman Dave <br /> Blechinger from Mrugala asking if it were possible <br /> to relocate his recycling center from the Jelco Bus <br /> Company yard in DeForest to a suitable location in <br /> the Township of Mazomanie. Blechinger indicated <br /> the township was concerned about recycling and <br /> indicated a qualified yes depending upon the <br /> suggested location. <br /> #2 April 85. A tour by Town Chairman Blechinger of <br /> the existing recycling center in DeForest. <br /> #3 May 85. An informal meeting with Mr . Mrugala, Town <br /> Chairman Blechinger and Larrie Isenring concerning <br /> the possiblility of relocating to one of three <br /> locations in the Township suggested by Mr . Mrugala. <br /> Mr. Mrugala was informed that all of these <br /> locations had potential problems such as open <br /> fields, not enough acreage, residential areas, etc. <br /> #4 Mr. Mrugala proceeded with his first choice <br /> location, the Peterson property, which he rented <br /> with an option to buy. He moved his first <br /> semi-trailer onto the property on May 19 , and <br /> informed the neighbors of his intention to open a <br /> recycling center and transfer site, with <br /> semi-trailers , garbage trucks, garbage compactor , <br />
