The position <br /> established by Birrenkott was from a previous survey by Weir on a distance up the section line. In researching <br /> the survey many of the monuments are set in that survey and derivation of these locations is not shown. <br /> Another survey by Roland Sarko from 1996 when placed based on the East 1/4 corner and Southeast corner <br /> extends the line shown to between the monuments set by Birrenkott and Weir at the center of the section. The <br /> position established by Weir was accepted since it was established by the current methods for the center of a <br /> section and is used with the current plat in the area.
