(e) Describe any material discrepancy between the location of the corner as restored or reestablished
and the location of that corner as previously restored or reestablished by distance and direction. Show
the discrepancy in the sketch on sheet 1.
Both existing tie sheets show the center 1/4 corner monumented different ways. The monument record by
Birrenkott established the section corner along the North-South line a distance from the South 1/4 corner
based on a previous survey. The monument record by Weir established the corner with the intersection of the
1/4 section lines.
(f)Was the corner restored through acceptance of(1) an obliterated evidence location, or(2)a found
perpetuated location?
A found perpetuated location.
(g&h)Was the corner reestablished through proportionate methods? If so, show the method, including
the directions and distances to other public land survey corners used as evidence or used for
proportioning in determining the corner location?
Not Applicable.
(i) List all previous Monument Records found, previously filed for the subject corner, including
monument types set or found, surveyor, and date of survey.
August 30, 1987- Daniel Birrenkott set a 1" Iron Pipe at the center of Section 4 on a straight line between the
South 1/4 corner and the North 1/4 corner(found aluminum monument at both corners set by G. Weir) as did
William Hough in June 22, 1855. For north -south control I retraced G. Weir Map No. 5950-L for location of
his Center of Section (found no monument). Used Weir call distance from the South 1/4 corner to set Center
of Section which falls on fence line extension from the East.
January 12, 1990 -George Weir established the position of this corner at the intersection of the line between
the North and South 1/4 corners and the line between the East and West 1/4 corners. A 1" Iron Pipe was set
as well as 4 reference ties. A found iron pipe 1.65'westerly of the corner is a traverse point which was set for
an earlier survey. The other found iron pipe is on the North-South 1/4 line off a fenceline to the east. No
evidence was found to justify this location as the corner.
(j) I, Kevin C. Lord Affix Land Surveyor Seal
hereby, certify that the corner location shown on
this record was determined by me or under my . •
direction and correct and that this U.S. Public ••' 5 C O N •,
Land Survey Monument Record is correct • ,`sh •
complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.
KEVIN C.
* LORD -
S-2645 •
MADISON,
. wis.
• suRv -. .
Signature Date
