Dane County Zoning Committee <br /> City County Building <br /> Madison, WI 53709 <br /> Dear Committee Members: <br /> RE: Zoning Petition 3550 and Conditional Use Permit 463 <br /> The Cottage Grove committee to look into alternative sites <br /> for recycling in the Town of Cottage Grove have selected a <br /> site. They have suggested that the site be located next to <br /> the Town Hall . <br /> This committee also recommended to the Town Board that they <br /> continue their recycling effort on the existing site for <br /> a period not to exceed three years, and during those three <br /> years, that they prepare the new site. <br /> I know that the Town of Cottage Grove has exclusive Ag. <br /> zoning, and that no parcel can be zoned A--1 if it is under <br /> 35 acres in size. So I am not opposed to the correct <br /> zoning of this parcel, but I am concerned about the <br /> Conditional Use Permit. <br /> I would like to express my support for the Conditional <br /> Use Permit to have a sunset clause to terminate three years <br /> from the date of issuance. <br /> Also, I would like the recycling site selection committee <br /> to have some input into the conditions of the Conditional <br /> Use Permit. <br /> Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Step enie A.
