Danel
6411 Mineral POint Road, Suite B SW
Madison, WI 53705 corres.
SUBJECT: Libby zoning application to the Dane County Zoning1Committee
Dear Mr. Watermolen:
The Department has received your request that we review the proposed Irezone
area for the Libby Landfill and determine whether the requested rezone will
conflict with the existing feasibility approval . The letter was dateld March
19, 1992.
•
After reviewing the rezoning application and map, the Department belileves that
the proposed rezone would not conflict with the feasibility approval Ifor the
site. It appears that the modifications to the footprint of the clay borrow
source will not impact the feasibility of the Libby Landfill as appr ived.
Sufficient volumes of clay exist at the site so that the reduction in; volumes
still leaves the landfill with plenty of clay to properly complete
construction.
If you have any questions regarding this letter, please contact Cindy Cook at
(608)267-3542, or Charles Leveque at (608)266-0228.
Sincerely,
Lakshmi Sridharan, Ph.D. , P.E. , Chief
Solid Waste Management Section
Bureau of Solid & Hazardous Waste Management
cc: Chuck Leveque - LC/5
Joe Brusca/Mike Degan - SD
Cindy Cook - SW/3
•
Printed on
