Il 3-!/• kt, /TEM NO
PET/T/ON NO.%G °S C.U.P. NO
E.H.D.
3608 The proposed change of use of the existing structure will require
that the existing private sewage system meet the requirements of
the Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations, Interpretation
#109 (see enclosure).
CO HWY.
Petition #3608 - This parcel has one commercial access to C.T.H. "T", an access
controlled highway. This access was granted by permit #75-10 and is located
adjacent to the westerly property line. This is the only access available to
C.T.H. "T".
RP C.
The proposed rezoning for commercial use is consistent with the Town of Burke
Land Use Plan, but the permitted C-2 uses are much broader than general
commercial use. Conditions on rezoning would protect adjacent properties
from potential "heavy" commercial or industrial uses allowed in the C-2
district. The Town of Burke Plan has a specific policy on septic tanks to
• where the combination of soil condition, water usage, employment and
business factors require a septic bed area over 20,000 sq. ft. , should be
located in areas to be served by public sewer."
T. BD
i5. IN FAVOR OPPOSED NO COM N
'THER.
The Tcwn Board and Planning commission recommend disapproval of
pettition 3608 for the following reasons. They did not have specific
plans for what would be developed on the •ro•- *w nor a timetable f•
•eve opnent. e Bo. • and Commission felt that this proposal
was speculative zoning.
