Their main concerns were increased traffic, <br /> noise pollution, air pollution, C .T .H .• N not being wide enough to <br /> facillate the turning of the trucks leaving the property, the extra <br /> security and fire protection that would be needed and the possibility ' <br /> of the trucks hauling ha.?ardous materials . <br /> Irving Smith stated that there would possibility 3 or 4 companies <br /> u <br /> interested in sharing the facility,• and that there- would be anywhere <br /> from 12 to 17 bays . Mr . Brogan stated that the trucks would be loaded <br /> to only 15, 000 to 2.0, 000 pounds and that there would be very little <br /> hazardous material in the loads . <br /> A motion was made by ES/SS to reconsider the original action the <br /> the Board took on the rezoning request. <br /> A motion was mode_ by TN/SS to approve the zone change request with <br /> the following stipulations ; require from Mr . Smith an erosion control <br /> ',''';) statement, a water runoff statement, reduction of the area to be rezoned <br /> by 250 feet to the south, a guarantee for site construction of a <br /> berm for the planting of trees next to the road, a berm to control <br /> water runoff and to construct woven wire fence to. surround the <br /> property. The driveway should be moved as f, ,r north as possible or <br /> at least 50 feet north. Vote on the motion, two aye and two nay . <br /> Results to be sent to the County Board. <br /> A report from the recycling committee was given. The comittee <br /> recommended the use of the present site with no change. They also <br /> recommended the phasing out of the present site: and moving the collection <br /> site adjacent to the Town Hall within three years or • as soon as practicabl ` <br /> The burning wbuld be decided by the courts . A motibn was made by TN/MK <br /> to accept the report from the recycle committee. Motion carried. <br /> A motion was made by ES/MK to send a letter to the County zoning to <br /> N grant the request for the zoning change for the existing recycling <br /> / property and a C .U . P. which would require trees for screening and <br /> landscaping as soon _.s possible. The County zoning committee would <br /> review the project in two years . and make any further recommendations . <br /> Motion carried. Motion carried. <br /> A Planning committee report: on the blanket rezoning was given by <br /> MK . motion was made by TN/SS to approve' the' recommendations of the <br /> planning committee on the blanket rezoning. Motion carried. <br /> The Treasurers report and due bills were reviewed. A mbtioh was made <br /> by SS/MK to pay all due bills .
