• - <br /> ,e 'r <br /> 4130 Barlow Road <br /> Cross Plains, WI 53528 <br /> June 10, 1986 <br /> Dane County Zoning/Bill Fleck <br /> 210 Monona Avenue <br /> Madison, WI 53709 <br /> To whom it may concern: <br /> With regard to the proposed zoning change on the corner of <br /> Observatory Road and Barlow Road in the township of Cross <br /> Plains, we wish to add our names in opposition to residen- <br /> tial zoning. <br /> Numerous reasons for opposition include: <br /> I Dangerous trafic/access <br /> A Both existing roads (Observatory and Barlow) adjacent <br /> to the land provide only extremely dangerous access. <br /> If Barlow was chosen as the access road, the only <br /> possible drive (taking into account the terrain) <br /> would be at the most dangerous spot. If you check <br /> the sheriff's reports you may note the number of <br /> reported accidents already occurring with existing <br /> traffic on that sharp corner of Barlow. <br /> B Increased residential traffic will only endanger <br /> those persons using roads necessary for agricultural <br /> equipment, etc. <br /> II Environment <br /> Beyond the above practical reasons making it unwise and <br /> unsafe we hope you will consider the more important <br />
