[U <br /> '' � �s IDj,,s 210 MONONA AVENUE, ROOM 118, MADISON, WISCONSIN 53709 <br /> September 29, 1986 <br /> Dear , <br /> At the Agriculture, Environment and Land Records Committee working meeting on <br /> Tuesday, September 23, Zoning Amendment #3696 concerning the A-2 district was <br /> tabled. This means it will not go before the County Board for a vote in the <br /> near future. <br /> I voted against tabling, stating that the A-2 issue had been discussed long <br /> enough. I explained the history of the A-2 zoning by presenting a list of <br /> actions on the matter which date back to 1983. <br /> Committee member Shary Bisgard moved to table #3696 and suggested that it be <br /> brought up again in January of 1987 as part of an ordinance review. I <br /> reminded her that this procedure had already been followed in 1984 and 1985. <br /> At that time the committee voted unanimously in favor of the A-2 with <br /> graduated subcatagories as in petition #3696. As you may recall, three area <br /> meetings were scheduled by the county zoning division to inform towns of all <br /> of the proposed changes. Unfortunately, the proposed changes were never <br /> brought before the County Board and consequently, a tremendous amount of staff <br /> and committee time was wasted. <br /> I thank those of you who communicated with the Agriculture, Environment and <br /> Land Records Committee or with Mr. Fleck to express your opinion on the <br /> matter.
