With these conditions in mind, we suggested
four restrictions which Mr. Weiman objects to in his letter of 7-
11-86.
Following is an explanation of these restrictions.
#1 . The airstrip is to be classified as a personal airstrip, to
wit, only Mr. Weiman may use the airstrip.
The restriction of classifying the strip as a personal airstrip
is consistent with Mr. Weiman's initial explanation for its use,
i .e. routine maintenance of his personal aircraft. Now in his
letter of 7-11,86, he has declared his intent that should he
lengthen the runway in the future, he would like to have as many
as seven aircraft use the proposed airstrip at any one time.
Mr. Weiman's airstrip is currently landlocked by the adjacent
properties of Ashley, Root, Feller and Schiller. Mr. Weiman' s
proposed airstrip is as long as it can be unless he purchases
additional land.
We believe that the proposed airstrip is already of a marginal
length for Mr. Weiman to safely land and take off in his current
aircraft. The use of the proposed airstrip by other unknown
aircraft, potentially larger, faster or noisier, poses unknown
safety and environmental risks.
We find the proposed use of the airstrip to include as many as
