r <br /> occupant who may also be responsible for such violations written Notice <br /> specifying the violations. The Owner shall have seven (7) days from the <br /> date he or any other occupant receives said written Notice to correct said <br /> violations. If such violations are not corrected within the time speci- <br /> fied herein, the Owner shall, at the discretion of the Town Board of the <br /> Town of Blue Mounds, Dane County, Wisconsin be fined at the rate of $10.00 <br /> per day for each day the violation or violations remain uncorrected, as <br /> per Section 10.25(9) of the Dane County Ordinances. If such fines remain <br /> unpaid for more than sixty (60) days after they have been assessed, they <br /> will be assessed against the Owner's Property and added to the real estate <br /> taxes due for such Property. If the above fining procedures have not <br /> resolved the violations, further legal action will be taken by the Town <br /> Board. <br /> 6. Amendment of Restrictions: The restrictions set forth in para- <br /> graph 3 above may be amended in the following manner: <br /> A. A written petition calling for the amendment of the restrictions <br /> may be made by the persons who are, at the time of the petition, owner(s) <br /> of the lands subject to the restrictions. Such petitions shall be sub- <br /> mitted to the Dane County Clerk who shall refer the petition to the Dane <br /> County Agricultural Extension & Education, Zoning, Planning & Water <br /> Resources Committee ( or successor committee) which committee shall sched- <br /> ule and hold a public hearing on the petition in the same manner as public <br /> hearings for zoning amendment petitions are noticed and scheduled. Follow- <br /> ing such hearing, the committee shall issue a written report on the peti- <br /> tion to the County Board of Supervisors which shall, by majority vote, <br /> approve or reject the petition. If approved, the petitioner(s) shall <br /> draft the amendatory covenant instrument, have same executed by the owner(s) <br /> of the lands subject to the restrictions and record same. <br /> -3- <br />
