Madison Wild Waters <br /> ECONOMIC IMPACT <br /> PROJECT COST: The estimated cost of Madison Wild Waters to complete is <br /> approximately $3,500,000.00 without the land cost. With this type of <br /> investment, time and effort the associates of the park plan on a long term <br /> commitment to the community and the park development. <br /> NEW JOBS: The jobs created after construction of the park will be six full <br /> time positions and over 100 jobs for students and others having proper qual- <br /> ifications. Since the nature of the park is water oriented, almost the entire <br /> staff will have to hold current first aid, CPR and lifesaving cards. <br /> SPINOFF BUSINESS: Madison Wild Waters will attract a tremendous amount of <br /> business to the Madison area from both local residents and interstate traffic. <br /> The park can also play a major part in hosting the 1987 National Sports Festival <br /> through the use of the wave pool facility. <br />
