Zoning Committee -- April 10, 1984
The following figures gives the appraised values;
The State appraisal value $ $1,550. per acre
Sauer appraisal value $ $1,600. per acre
Wyrore farm appraisal $ $1,700. per acre
In further checking and not getting a clear understanding of the Court action,
Milford and I decided to go through the normal procedures for zoning. We saw
no problem with this except for the amount of additional time involved and the
necessary delay in finalizing other decisions and transactions.
I met with the Town Board and received verbal approval to the zoning request at
the March 5, 1984, meeting. Prior to the annual April Town Board meeting, the
Town Clerk called me to advise me that Mr. Grand was opposing the zoning application
and the Board felt a public hearing may have to be held.
Mr. Grand called me on the phone and offered to withdraw his opposition to the
zoning application if I would sell the land to him. He offered me a below market
value of $1,100. per acre. He said cash was no problem for him and he would pay
for the survey, too, iiffe could settle inmediately 1 - q ues ibn _ p r
- - ' ' •
•if- , ,j °creels A-and-4104w
I do resent the pressure tactics he applied. But, regardless , I an not
interested in selling.
This property was a division of marital property sanctioned by the Court. I believe
the Court Order is in order and the determination was made by the Court.
T
-We would appreciate your approval of the zoning request.
Thank you.
3 :_
