"AB" with Earth Moving Equipment <br /> The Highway and Transportation Department approves the crossing of C.T.H. <br /> "AB" with earth moving equipment during construction of the new landfill <br /> site provided the following measures are undertaken by the contractor. <br /> 1 . A flagperson or flagpersons shall be provided at <br /> the intended crossing area during construction <br /> hours. <br /> 2. All signing in advance of the crossing shall be <br /> according to the "Manual on Uniform Traffic <br /> Control Devices." <br /> 3. The pavement in the crossing area shall be main- <br /> tained by the contractor, and kept in safe and <br /> passable condition for motorists on C.T.H. "AB" <br /> during construction operations. <br /> 4. All disturbed pavement and areas in the right-of- <br /> way shall be returned to their present condition <br /> or better, subject to the satisfaction of the <br /> H & T Department. <br /> 5. The H & T Department shall be contacted 72 hours <br /> in advance of construction operations, and the <br /> �• contractor shall provide emergency phone numbers <br /> for referral of roadway problems. <br /> 6. The crossing along C.T.H.
