Austin, George
April 24, 1984
Page 9
does not unnecessarily disturb valuable natural resource features and
represents a logical extension of services to the area based on the
needs of the proposed development and surrounding lands within the urban
service area. The staff has requested additional information on the
design basis for the proposed sewer extension from city staff, and will
continue the review when such information is received.
As a design comment on the proposed plat, we would note that tributary
greenways are mapped at a width of 100 feet. This is probably adequate
for drainage purposes, but consideration might be given to increasing
the width of the greenways if public access or recreational use (jogging
trails, etc. ) are being considered as part of a multiple-use greenway
system.
CM:js
•
1
